Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Compliance Project Engineer to join the Non-Nuclear Plant Management Team at Devonport Royal Dockyard. You will monitor compliance across non-nuclear assets, support investigations, and help manage asset registration and disposal while ensuring safety and regulatory adherence.

You will engage with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and maintain essential infrastructure, with on-site work at Devonport.

Qualifications

• Experience with statutory legislation relevant to engineering or asset compliance.
• Experience using Maximo or other CAFM systems.
• Understanding of engineering design principles and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report the compliance status of non-nuclear assets across the site.
• Support the management and resolution of identified compliance issues and investigations.
• Assist with asset registration, disposal activities and asset management processes.
• Provide maintenance and survey compliance support to ensure assets remain safe and fit for purpose.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive compliance, safety and continuous improvement.
