Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Compliance Project Engineer to support non-nuclear asset compliance at the Devonport Royal Dockyard site. The role focuses on safety, regulatory alignment and asset stewardship within a major defence environment.

The role is on-site at Plymouth, 35 hours per week, requires SC security clearance, and offers a competitive benefits package with pension, health, and additional perks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of statutory legislation relevant to engineering or asset compliance.
• Experience using Maximo or other CAFM systems.
• Understanding of engineering design principles and safety practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and supporting asset management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on the compliance status of non-nuclear assets across the site.
• Support management and resolution of identified compliance issues and investigations.
• Assist with asset registration, disposal activities and asset management processes.
• Provide maintenance and survey compliance support to ensure assets remain safe and fit for purpose.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive compliance, safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
