Hippo Digital Limited, a Leeds-based digital consultancy, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Node Developer to lead technical delivery within a squad. You will work across data, design, product and engineering to build secure, scalable services that meet client requirements and drive value.

You will mentor engineers, shape pipelines, advocate best practices, and contribute to our Engineering Herd culture through coaching, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Senior full-stack Node.js expert with a focus on scalable systems.
• Experience delivering high-quality, robust software within a delivery team.
• Ability to coach and guide others to optimal solutions.
• Excellent communication, technical and non-technical storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery within a squad, ensuring excellence and mentoring others.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver client solutions.
• Own software development and deployment pipelines, preempting bottlenecks.
• Communicate prototypes, solutions and progress to stakeholders clearly.
• Build strong relationships with team and stakeholders to overcome challenges.
• Mentor engineers and support consultants in professional development.
• Promote Hippo’s Engineering Herd through knowledge sharing, workshops, or blogs.
