Job summary

Proactive IT Appointments Limited is seeking an experienced NOC Operations Manager to lead multi-platform network environments across remote and client sites. The role blends hands-on technical work with team leadership and service improvement in a fast-paced ITIL-backed setting.

You will manage a skilled NOC team, design resilient networks, and guide incident, problem, and change processes while contributing across cloud and security platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in network operations, systems engineering, or similar environments.
• Strong expertise in DNS, routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, and secure access
• Cisco networking experience (CCNP level or equivalent)
• Cloud experience across AWS and/or Azure
• Excellent troubleshooting, leadership, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting a skilled NOC team
• Managing resilient, highly available network environments
• Designing and troubleshooting solutions across networking, cloud, and security platforms
• Supporting incident, problem, and change management within an ITIL framework
• Providing technical leadership across customer solutions and projects
• Participating in a flexible 24/7 on-call rota
