Job summary

ITVET is seeking a NOC Senior Engineer to join our Service Desk in Bishops Stortford, UK. You will serve as Tier II NOC engineer, resolving complex network issues and delivering technical changes while acting as the primary escalation point for networking-related incidents.

You will mentor junior colleagues and ensure high-quality service to clients, while contributing to process improvements and maintaining professionalism in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Senior IT role with extensive network troubleshooting experience.
• Experience in MSP environments and handling complex issues.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex networking problems under pressure.
• Strong communication to explain technical issues to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Act as final technical escalation point for the NOC, resolving complex issues.
• Lead Change Requests and Technical Validations ensuring standards and risk assessments.
• Own major incidents with thorough root-cause analysis and timely resolution.
• Provide mentoring and support to junior NOC colleagues.
• Maintain high customer service standards in critical situations.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to long-term fixes and process improvements.
• Represent ITVET's values and technical excellence in client interactions.
