Job summary

IT4Automation is seeking an OT Network & Infrastructure Engineer to join our engineering team in Epsom, Surrey. This hands-on role covers network infrastructure delivery, NOC/SOC service desk support and customer-site work, with a focus on Operational Technology and Critical National Infrastructure.

You’ll work with switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs and related systems, contributing to monitoring, incident response and documentation.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in network engineering, infrastructure support or cyber operations.
• Interest in OT environments and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Willingness to learn and work across projects and support services.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain OT network infrastructure.
• Work with switches, routers, firewalls and VPNs.
• Support NOC/SOC service desk operations.
• Monitor alerts, incidents and service requests.
• Produce technical documentation and configuration records.
• Support customer projects from prep to delivery and handover.
