Job summary

Community Care Live is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support older residents in their homes during nights and weekends. You will help with personal care, assist with medications, and ensure comfort and safety while maintaining high standards of care.

We value compassion, empathy and reliability over formal care experience; training and support are provided, with opportunities to develop professional skills within a friendly team and a supportive community.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care not essential; values, motivations and compassionate approach are prioritised.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership: motivate, train and support care staff through supervision and feedback, leading shifts, care practice monitoring and role modelling high standards.
• Support at night: assist with personal care and administering medication, ensuring residents are comfortable, safe and well cared for during overnight hours.
• Person-centred care: tailor care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
• Build relationships: establish supportive connections with residents, families and colleagues.
