Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant - Nights at Rivermere Care Home in Kent to deliver high-quality personal care and support residents with compassion. You will work closely with the care team in a safe, inclusive environment that values respect and wellbeing.

Responsibilities include monitoring residents’ wellbeing, updating care plans, assisting with medications, and guiding staff development.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• Two years’ experience in a similar care environment.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal.
• Flexible and responsive to cover responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the wellbeing of residents and respond to changes.
• Maintain and update care plans and records accordingly.
• Contribute to monthly evaluations in person-centred care planning.
• Support residents with medication where required.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support development.
• Be a key contact for residents, relatives and health professionals.
