Job summary

Rivermere Care Home in Kent, operated by Avery Healthcare Group, is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to work night shifts. You will support the Care team in delivering personal care, monitor residents’ wellbeing, contribute to care plans and assist with medication needs while supervising staff and acting as a key contact for residents, relatives and healthcare professionals.

The role requires an NVQ 3 in care and two years’ experience in a similar setting, with a compassionate, flexible approach

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 in care for care homes or equivalent
• Two years' experience in a similar care environment
• DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care alongside the Care team
• Maintain a safe, caring environment for residents, visitors and staff
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and update care plans as needs change
• Participate in person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations
• Support residents with medication requirements
• Undertake staff supervision and support staff development
• Act as key contact for residents, relatives and health professionals
• Respond to requests and escalate concerns or complaints

Senior Care Assistant on nights at Rivermere Care Home in Kent, run by Avery Healthcare Group. The post supports the Care team to deliver personal care, monitor residents' wellbeing, contribute to care plans and support medication needs.
