Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant for Nights at Rivermere Care Home in Kent. You will work with our care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

You will monitor wellbeing, contribute to care planning, assist with medications, and support staff development while maintaining excellent communication with families and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• 2 years’ experience in similar care environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Positive attitude toward supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
• Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents’ wellbeing and note changes affecting care plans.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning and undertake monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication requirements as needed.
• Undertake staff supervision and support staff development.
• Act as a key contact for residents, relatives and health/social care professionals; escalate concerns as required.
