Job summary

West Mercia Police is recruiting a Specialist Technical Support - Level 3 (Network) to join the ICT Service. You will deliver high-level technical support to internal and external customers and may supervise colleagues to ensure an efficient service.

The role requires CCNA, routing and switching, VPN and SDWAN skills; you will help maintain security awareness and deploy tools such as Citrix NetScaler and VMware/Hyper-V, working in a hybrid home/office setting in the West Midlands region.

Qualifications

• CCNA Certification required
• Experience with routing and switching
• Knowledge of VPN and remote access
• Understanding of security awareness and proxy tools

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical support across ICT services for internal and external customers
• Supervise colleagues locally when required to ensure efficient service
• Contribute to an end-to-end quality ICT service and support deployment of specialist applications and equipment
