Job summary

CRG TEC in Manchester/Warrington is seeking a 3rd Line Network Engineer to join a busy MSP/MSSP networking team. You’ll tackle complex escalations while delivering firewall replacements, SD-WAN projects, and network refreshes across multi-vendor environments.

Day-to-day includes LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls and wireless deployment, with occasional travel across the North West and one day a week from home. A full UK driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Strong networking fundamentals with multi-vendor experience.
• Experience delivering firewall replacements, SD-WAN and network refreshes.
• Ability to own complex network changes and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Work across LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, wireless and SD-WAN.
• Troubleshoot escalations and deliver network changes from planning to handover.
• Plan and implement connectivity changes and office moves for multi-customer environments.
