Bristol City Council is seeking a Senior Network Management Officer to join the Highway Network Management service. You will coordinate complex highway projects and provide specialist advice to minimise disruption to travel around the city.
Working with colleagues, contractors and partner organisations, you will lead on the Streetworks Permit Scheme and drive service improvements through effective policy guidance and stakeholder engagement.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Bristol City Council as a Senior Network Management Officer within the Highway Network Management service.
You will work at a senior technical and professional level, helping to coordinate complex activities and projects across Bristol’s highway network.
You will provide specialist advice, support the delivery of Bristol’s Streetworks Permit Scheme and help ensure that works affecting the highway are carefully planned and coordinated.
This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work with colleagues, contractors, utility companies and partner organisations to support effective service delivery and minimise disruption to people travelling around the city.
You will provide specialist and technical expertise across the team’s work programme, acting as a source of authoritative advice to colleagues and project teams.
The role may occasionally require you to work outside standard working hours.

Previous experience of working for or with a local authority and a full current driving licence would be desirable.
