Job summary

Avon Technologies plc is seeking a Senior Network and Infrastructure Engineer to design, operate and support on-premises and private cloud infrastructure across multiple sites. You will manage Cisco networking, server and storage platforms, ensure high availability, performance and security, and work with IT teams and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating Cisco networking, VLANs, and routing.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IP addressing and network segmentation.
• Experience with network security, firewalls, VPNs, and 802.1X/Cisco ISE.
• Proficiency with Windows Server platforms (AD, Group Policy).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 integrations and hybrid identity.
• Experience with virtualization including Hyper-V and VMware.
• Understanding of high availability and clustering in compute and network.
• Knowledge of SAN/NAS, replication, and performance tuning.
• Experience with backup/disaster recovery design (Veeam).
• Familiarity with PKI and certificate management.
• Security frameworks (NIST) and vulnerability management.
• Multi-site/global infrastructure experience.
• Monitoring and performance management tooling.
• ITIL-aligned service management.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain network, server, and storage infrastructure.
• Support Cisco-based networking environments.
• Manage and support routing and switching.
• Implement and maintain network security controls and patching.
• Provide 3rd line support for infrastructure and network issues.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams.
• Maintain backups, recovery and DR solutions.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation across networks and systems.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee lifecycle of infrastructure assets and vendor relationships.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
