Job summary

A senior Infrastructure Engineer (Networks) role sits within the Infrastructure team of the Information Services department. The post holder will have line management responsibilities over an Infrastructure Engineer (Networks) and will contribute to the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of university IT infrastructure both on premise and in the cloud.

Qualifications

• Senior role within Infrastructure Team with line management responsibilities.
• Broad IT disciplines with specialisation in networking, cloud and security.
• Provide 3rd line support alongside Service Desk to staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain University IT infrastructure on premise and in the cloud.
• Monitor systems and contribute to ongoing service improvements.
• Work closely with the Service Desk and other IT service areas in a 3rd line capacity.
