Job summary

Proactive Appointments is recruiting for a Tivoli Netcool OMNIbus SME to join a leading global banking organisation in London. This hybrid role ensures the availability, stability, and performance of a 24x7 monitoring estate, with hands-on leadership across Netcool Omnibus, Impact and WebGUI.

You will drive improvements in monitoring, alerting, event correlation and automation, lead investigations, and collaborate with IT teams to deliver measurable coverage and observability.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on NOI administration in large enterprises.
• Expert knowledge of Omnibus, Impact and WebGUI components.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations and ITSM workflows.
• Strong SQL and ObjectServer database skills.
• Proven ability to operate in 24x7 production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain event monitoring, alerting and enrichment rules.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis for monitoring failures.
• Integrate monitoring platforms with ITSM, dashboards and automation tools.
• Provide SME-level support for monitoring incidents and service requests.
• Mentor engineering and operations teams on best practices and standards.
