Job summary

CreateFuture, an AI-native consulting partner, seeks a Senior Engineer to lead and deliver across a broad .NET, AWS, and AI-enabled stack. You'll work on critical applications, modernising platforms, and shaping engineering standards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and drive best practices in cloud, IaC with Terraform, and frontend work using Next.js. Flexible hybrid/remote options with offices in Manchester and other hubs.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Software Engineer in .NET environments.
• Strong AWS knowledge and cloud-native delivery experience.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tooling and engineering practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications and services using .NET and AWS.
• Work across a broad .NET landscape including legacy and modern apps.
• Adopt AI-assisted engineering practices across the lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve existing systems.
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Support cloud-native practices and platform improvements in AWS.
• Contribute to frontend development using Next.js or similar.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver pragmatic solutions.
• Promote best practices for maintainability, scalability, and excellence.
• Support modernization initiatives and technical challenges.
