Job summary

Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT) Neonatal Unit, one of the busiest Level 2 units in London, cares for babies born at 27 weeks gestation and supports growth, development and family-centred care. The post holder will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality nursing care to neonates.

The position is an 11 months fixed-term contract, with duration aligned to the hiring process and pre-employment checks; start date to be confirmed.

Responsibilities

• The post holder is responsible for the care of one or defined group of babies within the Neonatal Unit without supervision and to utilise and further develop specialist skills in order to provide the highest standard of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised patient care.
• To actively participate in and contribute to the management of the clinical area.
