Job summary

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a devoted Neonatal Sister to join our Level 2 Neonatal Unit. This Band 6 role focuses on coordinating clinical care, leading the nursing team, and maintaining high standards of neonatal practice within a dynamic care environment.

Applicants must hold RN/RM/RCN registration with QIS/ENB 405 and have neonatal unit experience. The post requires flexible working, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays, with relocation of service

Qualifications

• RN/RM/RCN eligible registration with NMC/RCN
• Experience in a Neonatal Unit required
• Able to lead and coordinate nursing care in a busy unit

Responsibilities

• Function as a competent clinical practitioner within Neonatal Unit
• Coordinate and oversee nursing practice during shifts
• Ensure delivery of clinical activities across your span of duty
• Work with multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
• Promote evidence-based practice and flexible working to meet service needs
