Neonatal Transitional Care (NTC) supports resident mothers as primary care providers for their babies with care requirements in excess of normal newborn care, but who do not require to be in a neonatal unit (NNU).
We are looking for highly motivated, compassionate and enthusiastic nursery nurses to join our neonatal nursing team. We have a position available, for individuals with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
Our Neonatal Unit is situated within Broomfield Hospital and is part of the East of England Operational Delivery Network. The Neonatal Ward is a Level 2 Local Unit and offers comprehensive neonatal services, which include designated Intensive Care cots, High Dependency cots, Special Care cots and a Transitional Care Service.
We are Gold level Bliss Accredited, and always strive to provide high quality, safe and effective care and are looking for someone with the vision, skill and enthusiasm to help take the unit forward., As a Band 4 nursery nurse, you will work within the team to provide, and support the provision of a high standard of neonatal care for the infant and their family. The job will entail working in the neonatal unit, and within post natal ward providing transitional care.
Our staff confidently offer advice and support to parent/carers of babies for a range of issues from infant feeding to information about safety in the home.
