Job summary

Morson Group is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor with NEC4/NEC3 expertise for roles across nuclear, renewables, water and infrastructure at Warrington. You will manage contracts, commercial matters and deliver strategic commercial advice, visiting sites and coordinating with project teams.

The role requires NEC Practitioner-level competence, strong leadership, and the ability to drive collaboration across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• NEC Practitioner-level competence with solid NEC4 knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate detailed working knowledge of the NEC suite and contract data.
• Compile and advise on NEC contracts, ensure concise and fit-for-purpose documents.
• Advise on scope and site information ensuring alignment with contractual requirements.
• Understand roles of project stakeholders and ensure compliance with legislation and safety.
• Lead on compensation events and programme impacts with the Project Manager.
• Produce pricing documents and assess compensation events with teams.
• Advise clients on contractual positions and manage early warning process.
• Act as a visible leader within project teams and stakeholders.
• Facilitate NEC-related workshops and promote best practice.
• Encourage joint collaboration across the supply chain.
