Westray Recruitment Group seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a Chartered practice with NEC4 focus. You will advise on NEC contracts, lead commercial strategy, and manage complex project commercial delivery across power, infrastructure and utilities sectors.

The role emphasizes mentoring, NEC4 training and leadership development, with regular site travel and a path to NEC Specialist level.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management or Engineering.
• Strong Quantity Surveying and commercial management experience.
• Competence at NEC Practitioner or NEC Specialist level or equivalent NEC experience.
• Good understanding of NEC contracts and practical application.
• Experience with NEC payment mechanisms and compensation events.
• Ability to interpret contractual positions and provide clear commercial advice.

Aufgaben

• Manage and provide advice on NEC contracts, including Main and Secondary Options and Contract Data.
• Provide strategic commercial and contractual advice to clients and project teams.
• Support preparation and management of contractual documentation.
• Guide on Scope and Site Information aligning with contractual requirements.
• Lead governance of defined cost, disallowed cost, fee and cost components.
• Lead pricing documentation across different NEC4 main contract options.
• Lead early warnings and risk mitigation with project teams.
• Develop strong client, contractor and stakeholder relationships.
