Job summary

Morson Group seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor with NEC3/4 specialist knowledge to manage contract and commercial matters across major power, infrastructure and energy projects. The role requires regular site visits and collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.

Applicants should have NEC Practitioner-level competence, strong leadership, and membership in professional bodies; UK driving licence is preferred. Hybrid working arrangements are available, with a clear career progression path.

Qualifications

• Detailed working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts (Main & Secondary Options) and Contract Data.
• Experience advising on scope, site information and obligations across parties.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to run workshops and present NEC best practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide NEC contractual expertise to deliver strategic commercial advice across client projects.
• Act as trusted advisor on-site and in office; regular site visits to engage delivery teams, contractors and subcontractors.
• Manage compensation events and programme impacts with Project Manager and planner.
• Lead pricing, Defined/Disallowed Cost, and Schedule of Cost Components; advise clients on contractual positions.
