Morson Group is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor – NEC3/4 Specialist in Warrington. The role blends on-site and office work, with regular site visits to engage with project teams, contractors and subcontractors on NEC contracts across major power, energy, infrastructure and utilities frameworks.

The successful candidate will provide strategic commercial advice, manage contract and commercial matters, and work toward a clear NEC4 career path from practitioner to specialist within a reputable

Qualifications

• NEC contracts knowledge and application
• Programme management experience
• Payment and change management expertise
• Leadership and stakeholder engagement
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Full UK driving licence for site travel

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate detailed working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts and advise on contract data and conditions
• Manage compensation events and potential programme impacts with the Project Manager and planner
• Lead pricing documents, Defined Cost, Disallowed Cost and Schedule of Cost Components
• Advise clients on contractual positions and manage the early warning process
• Act as a trusted leader within project teams and facilitate NEC-related workshops and best practice
