Job summary

Oceaneering is seeking an NDT Technician in Southampton to apply the most effective inspection techniques and ensure safe working conditions. You will perform risk assessments, conduct equipment tests, and report findings clearly to supervision, staying within specifications.

You'll work to meet deadlines, follow Oceaneering procedures and client requirements, and contribute to the safety, environmental, and quality systems. Some roles may require travelling within the UK as needed.

Qualifications

• PCN L2 UT 3.1 qualification required.
• PCN/SNT L2 Dye Penetrant (Liquid penetrant) required.
• PCN/SNT L2 MPI required.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the most effective NDT techniques to components requiring inspection.
• Ensure work area is safe for NDT activities.
• Carry out risk assessments/Take II as required.
• Ensure NDT equipment function tests are performed and report faults.
• Ensure inspections meet specification parameters.
• Evaluate results in accordance with specifications.
• Produce clear reports detailing inspection methods and results.
• Meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• Comply with Oceaneering procedures and client specs.
• Communicate high-density areas to supervision.
• Undertake other duties as required by supervision or management.
• Follow Company HSEQ systems.
