Job summary

Oceaneering is seeking an NDT Technician to perform non-destructive testing across UT, RT, MT and PT, ensuring asset reliability and safety. You will interpret results, maintain equipment, and support asset integrity initiatives at client sites.

You will work closely with engineering and maintenance teams, document findings, and stay current with industry standards while training junior technicians. Travel to client facilities and adherence to safety protocols are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of NDT inspection experience.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in NDT or Engineering preferred.
• Familiarity with ASME, API, and ASTM codes; PCN/SNT Level 2 UT/MT or equivalent within six months.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections using UT, RT, MT, and PT.
• Interpret results and prepare reports per codes and client requirements.
• Maintain, calibrate, and verify NDT equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to address asset integrity issues.
• Conduct on-site inspections at client facilities with safety focus.
• Document findings and maintain traceable records.
• Stay updated on NDT technologies and best practices.
• Provide training and guidance to junior technicians.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during inspections.
