Job summary

Oceaneering is seeking an NDT Technician to perform non-destructive testing across UT, RT, MT and PT, ensuring asset reliability and safety. You will interpret results, maintain equipment, and support asset integrity initiatives at client sites.

You will work closely with engineering and maintenance teams, document findings, and stay current with industry standards while training junior technicians. Travel to client facilities and adherence to safety protocols are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of NDT inspection experience.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in NDT or Engineering preferred.
• Familiarity with ASME, API, and ASTM codes; PCN/SNT Level 2 UT/MT or equivalent within six months.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) or Engineering, preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience performing NDT inspections, preferably within the energy or industrial sectors.

Certifications:

• PCN/SNT Level 2 Ultrasonic Testing (UT) 3.1 & 3.2 certification, or willingness to obtain the qualification within six months of assignment.
• PCN/SNT Level 2 Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) certification.
• Level 1/2 Radiography and Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) certification, or willingness to obtain the qualification within six months of assignment.
• Good working knowledge of industry codes and standards, including ASME, API, and ASTM.
• Proficiency in operating NDT equipment and software for inspection and data analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple inspection projects.
• Physical capability to perform inspections in various environments, including confined spaces.
