Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a multi-site NDT Level 3 professional to oversee aerospace inspection compliance across Feltham, Bournemouth, Waterford, and possibly Yeovil. The role combines technical leadership, audits, and certification management, with 50% travel across the EMEAI region.

The successful candidate will hold current EN4179/NAS40 certifications (PT, MT, ET, UT) and lead the NDT team to Level 3 standards, supporting AS9100 improvements and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in the manufacturing industry with quality focus.
• NDT Level 3 with current Aerospace EN4179/NAS40 PT MT ET UT.
• Working knowledge of AS9100/IA9100 Quality Management standards.
• Advanced knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Experience using statistical analysis tools to support data-driven quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Carry out supplier and internal annual NDT self-audits per NADCAP requirements.
• Support regulatory audits (CAA, EASA, FAA, NADCAP, etc.) and Honeywell network audits.
• Write and update NDT procedures and work instructions aligned with latest NDT revisions.
• Ensure NDT Technicians exams, training, eye tests, familiarisation and proficiency records are up to date (NDE-001).
• Procure and calibrate NDT equipment, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Assist site management in procuring correct NDT equipment to meet specs.
• Lead ad-hoc site visits to troubleshoot NDT equipment issues and fixes.
• Develop the NDT team to provide Level 3 coverage and succession in the region.
• Support QMS/AS9100 improvement projects within the EMEAI region.
• Drive continuous improvements, KPIs, FOD reduction, and lean NDT solutions.
