Job summary

W Talent is recruiting an NDT Inspector for its Nottingham operation. The role covers non-destructive testing and inspection to ensure products meet quality standards, in a 3-shift pattern including days and nights.

The ideal candidate holds Level 2 NDT accreditation with Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) experience and has a background in aerospace or heavy engineering. Strong attention to detail and collaboration with production and quality teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Non-Destructive Testing accreditation - essential.
• Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) experience - preferred.
• Experience in aerospace or heavy engineering environment - highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out NDT inspections in line with procedures, specifications and customer requirements.
• Complete Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) where required.
• Identify and report defects, non-conformances and quality issues.
• Ensure inspection/testing is completed accurately and in line with standards.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
• Work with production and quality teams to support product quality and delivery.
• Maintain focus on quality, safety and compliance at all times.
• Support cross-training across other departments when required.
