Job summary

Addition is seeking a Senior National Account Manager to own key UK retail relationships and drive growth across major accounts. You will lead a small team, develop JBPs, manage profitability, and partner with internal teams to ensure flawless delivery.

You'll bring strong FMCG or grocery retail experience, proven negotiations skills, and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders across Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Ocado and more, with regular travel to head offices.

Qualifications

• Strong National Account Management experience within FMCG, consumer goods or grocery retail.
• Experience managing major UK retailers such as Asda, Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose or Ocado.
• Proven commercial experience, including negotiations, JBPs and P&L management.
• Confident building relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly to retailer head offices and stores.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with major UK retail accounts.
• Drive sales growth, profitability and overall account performance.
• Develop and deliver Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
• Lead commercial negotiations with senior retail stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, forecasting and P&L performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve in-store performance and product visibility.
• Line manage and support two account management professionals.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery across accounts.
