elix Sourcing Solutions is seeking a Senior Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for its Eye, Suffolk site. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance, electrical and PLC fault-finding, and driving equipment reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work on planned and preventive maintenance, manage external contractors, and uphold site safety standards as part of a progressive, multi-site group with strong growth plans.

Qualifikationen

NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Proven background within food, beverage, or high-volume FMCG manufacturing.
17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification highly desirable
Experience with PLCs, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, drives, compressors, pumps etc.

Are you a multiskilled maintenance engineer with strong autonomous experience? Have you worked within a fast-paced FMCG or high-care manufacturing environment? Do you want a key role within an industry-leading, multi-site group known for exceptional stability, continued site investment, and strong staff retention?

Due to ongoing operational growth, my client is looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the engineering department at their facility in Eye, Sufolk.

Operating fully hands-on, you will drive planned & preventative maintenance, carry out electrical and mechanical work, optimise processing line efficiency, and support site KPIs.

This is an ideal opportunity to work within a resilient, highly established manufacturing operation with an expansive corporate network and clear long-term growth plans.

The Role:

Supporting day-to-day engineering schedules, external contractor management, and site safety standards.

Executing hands-on planned & preventative maintenance, continuous improvement modifications, and electrical/PLC fault-finding.

Working a Panama Days shift pattern at a state-of-the-art processing facility.

The Candidate:

NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Proven background within food, beverage, or high-volume FMCG manufacturing.
