Job summary

ADR Specialists Ltd is recruiting for a Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our fast-paced food manufacturing site in Flint. You will work in a small engineering team, carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs on process equipment and packaging lines.

The role offers a £54.5k salary, a three-shift pattern (7:00-15:00, 15:00-23:00 and 23:00-07:00), and an environment focused on hygiene and continuous improvement. Time-served engineers with FMCG experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast paced manufacturing environments.
• Recognised engineering qualification (HNC/HND/ONC/OND or equivalent).
• Electrical and mechanical aptitude required for process equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery.
• Troubleshoot and fault-find electrical and mechanical issues.
• Follow hygiene standards within food production.
• Carry out planned inspection routes and preventive maintenance.
• Work with maintenance manager and production staff.

Your New Company: Specialising in the food manufacturing sector, this client offers a diverse role within a state of art manufacturing facility for the right Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer.

The Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer will be working within a small team of multi-skilled engineers, you will ideally have experience of fast moving manufacturing environments with good electrical skills and sound mechanical knowledge.

Person Requirements for the Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Time served Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer, preferably from the Food/FMCG Industry
• Recognised Engineering qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND
• Accustomed to fast paced and challenging working environments
• Multi-skilled engineer but with good electrical and mechanical aptitude
• Machinery experience with multi-head weighers, packaging machinery, conveyors and metal detectors

Job Requirements for the Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer

The ideal Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer will have a strong background in Food/FMCG engineering and be accustomed to fast paced environments.

• The Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer will work in partnership with the Maintenance manager, production staff and technicians to carry out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery.
• Electrical and mechanical aptitude required.
• Working to the expected hygiene standards within food production.
• Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.
• Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance schedules.
• Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.
