Job summary

Escape in Edinburgh is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to deliver hands-on 2nd/3rd line support across diverse client environments, including migrations. The role combines home-based work with occasional client visits, typically 1–2 days per week, and a salary of £35,000–£42,000 DOE.

You’ll troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Entra ID, AD, Intune, Windows Server, networking, and security, communicating confidently with clients and taking ownership through to resolution.

Qualifications

• At least three years' hands-on MSP experience.
• Strong 2nd/3rd line support and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience handling technical escalations.
• Confident communication with clients and colleagues.
• The ability to work independently and have a full UK driving licence.
• Based within reach of Edinburgh for client visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on 2nd/3rd line support across varied client environments.
• Act as escalation point for other engineers.
• Work across infrastructure migrations and ongoing projects.
• Investigate problems, identify root cause, and drive to resolution.
