Job summary

Escape is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer (MSP) in Edinburgh and the Lothians. The role is home-based with client visits typically 1–2 days a week, salary £35,000–£42,000 DOE.

You will provide hands-on 2nd/3rd line support across varied client environments, act as an escalation point, and assist with infrastructure migrations while building strong relationships and owning problems through to resolution.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ hands-on MSP experience.
• Strong 2nd/3rd line support and troubleshooting.
• Experience handling technical escalations.
• Confident communication with clients and colleagues.
• The ability to work independently.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Based within reach of Edinburgh and the Lothians for client visits.
• Microsoft certifications are welcome, but practical experience carries more weight.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on 2nd/3rd line IT support across varied client environments.
• Act as escalation point for other engineers and coordinate resolutions.
• Assist with infrastructure migrations and updates.
• Maintain strong client relationships and clear communication.
