Job summary

Advance Training & Recruitment Services is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the South Coast, UK, with hybrid working. The role leads commercial delivery across Education, Healthcare, Defence and other sectors within the Buildings team, requiring MRICS or equivalent and strong NEC/JCT knowledge.

You will manage cost plans, budgets and contract administration, act as Employer’s Agent, mentor junior QS staff and support bids and business development.

Qualifications

• MRICS (Chartered Quantity Surveyor) or equivalent qualification.
• Proven Quantity Surveying / Cost Management experience in property and development.
• Strong NEC and/or JCT contract knowledge.
• Employer’s Agent experience desirable.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial delivery on projects – owning cost, quality and programme.
• Preparing cost plans, budgets, forecasts and contract administration.
• Acting as commercial advisor and Employer’s Agent, building strong client relationships.
• Mentoring junior Quantity Surveyors and supporting team development.
• Contributing to bids, proposals and business development.
