Hastings Insurance Services Limited, a digital insurer, is seeking a Senior Risk Pricing Manager for our motor portfolio. Hybrid working across London, Bexhill, and Leicester, with a strong emphasis on pricing strategy, analytics, and governance.

You will lead the development and deployment of pricing models, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive measurable commercial impact while ensuring regulatory compliance and robust governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in general insurance pricing, UK motor preferred.
• Strong knowledge of statistical modelling (GLMs; ML desirable).
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end pricing initiatives.
• Understanding of regulatory/governance requirements (GIPP).
• Excellent communication and ability to influence at senior leadership level.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, deployment, and governance of risk pricing models across the motor portfolio.
• Oversee design and implementation of pricing strategies and improvements in segmentation and predictive capability.
• Ensure pricing activity meets governance standards and regulatory requirements.
• Translate complex analytics into clear insights for senior stakeholders.
• Partner with Underwriting, Retail, Finance, and Analytics teams to align pricing with business goals.
• Monitor pricing performance and drive post-deployment optimisation.
