Job summary

Methods Business and Digital Technology Limited is seeking a Modern Workplace Engineer to deliver enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions. You will own architecture and implementation across Microsoft technologies, working with customers and partners to align technical and commercial outcomes.

The role requires security clearance readiness, strong communication, and the ability to lead technical workshops while collaborating with sales and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Several years in a customer-facing role delivering and supporting technology solutions based on Microsoft technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft cloud platforms, security, services and best practices.
• Lead on technical workshops and solutions across multiple technologies.
• Significant pre-sales experience discussing solutions with customers.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in initial customer engagements to articulate BDT capabilities and shape technical strategy.
• Own the technical solution to meet customer specifications, liaise with partners to deliver feasible solutions.
• Construct a cost model to support implementation and delivery of the solution.
• Own and manage risks associated with solution development and implementation.
• Take the technical lead in presenting solutions to customers with the sales team.
• Provide technical support in contract negotiations and handover to delivery teams.
• Develop and maintain BDT technical solutions and stay current with industry developments.
