Job summary

Preply is seeking a Senior ML Platform/Ops Engineer to productionize ML systems with high reliability, performance, and observability on our AI-powered learning platform. You will enable fast, secure, reproducible model development from training to deployment, collaborating with ML Scientists, Backend Engineers and Data Engineers.

You’ll help scale AI tooling adoption, design robust pipelines, and contribute to a scalable ML lifecycle that supports models and features at pace in a global ed-tech

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and deploying ML systems in production.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; experience with orchestration tools.
• Experience on cloud platforms (GCP/AWS) and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ML pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Create reproducible training environments and manage scalable compute.
• Define observability and alerting for ML systems.
• Scale data ingestion and feature transformation workflows.
• Contribute to internal libraries and tooling for model deployment.
• Ensure ML services are modular, testable and monitored.
• Prototype and productionize LLM-based features.
