Job summary

ASOS in London is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for the Recommendations team. You will productionise ML systems that power outfit discovery and shopability for millions of customers, leveraging deep learning and scalable architectures.

You will work in an agile cross-functional team, deploy batch and online models, mentor colleagues, and set ML standards across ASOS's ML community.

Qualifications

• Experience applying machine learning in production settings.
• Experience with deep learning techniques and practical deployments.
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks for large models.
• Familiarity with training models on multiple GPUs and distributed approaches.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles, data pipelines, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Build and productionise ML systems to power outfits recommendations.
• Collaborate with scientists to deploy at-scale solutions for hundreds of millions of users.
• Deploy batch and online ML models at scale.
• Develop and improve code and features, shaping new capabilities.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.
• Contribute to ML standards and drive quality across ASOS's ML community.
