Job summary

Primer is building a unified payments infrastructure and is hiring a Senior ML Engineer to own end-to-end ML features from research to production across the payments platform. You will work with engineering, data and product to turn promising ML ideas into shipped solutions and measurable outcomes.

You will lead the development of scalable ML infrastructure, versioning, CI/CD and observability, while mentoring other engineers and clarifying technical direction in a rapidly evolving area.

Qualifications

• Production ML deployments across API, batch, or streaming.
• Ability to design and run experiments and A/B tests, and interpret results.
• Strong Python and ML library experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end ML features from research to deployment and monitoring.
• Build ML infrastructure with versioning, CI/CD, observability.
• Collaborate with product, data and engineering to ship measurable outcomes.
• Mentor engineers on ML tradeoffs and practical solutions.
• Engage with customers to validate ideas against real usage.
