Job summary

GB Recruitment (England, Scotland, Wales) is seeking an experienced MHE trainer for a permanent, full-time role at East Midlands Gateway in Derby. You will deliver training on Reach Truck, Counterbalance, PPT, and related equipment, while conducting refresher courses and maintaining competency records.

The role requires accredited MHE instructor qualifications (RTITB/ITSSAR/AITT or equivalent) and strong knowledge of warehouse operations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Accredited MHE Instructor qualification (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent).
• Experience delivering MHE training in warehouse/logistics.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver MHE training on Reach Truck, Counterbalance, PPT, LLOP and other equipment.
• Conduct refresher, familiarisation and conversion courses.
• Assess operator competency and maintain training records.
• Support site compliance through audits and observations.
• Investigate MHE-related incidents and identify training needs.
• Coach and develop colleagues to improve performance and safety.
• Support site inductions and other operational training activities.
