Job summary

Aspion is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Account Manager to join a leading UK metal stockholder in Hampshire. You will drive revenue by developing and managing key customer relationships and identifying new opportunities.

The role requires a proven track record in sales/account management within metals or similar distribution environments, with strong negotiation and customer service skills. An attractive package includes a bi-annual bonus and generous leave.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales/account management within metals or steel stockholding is highly desirable.
• Experience in similar distribution environments (engineering/manufacturing/electrical wholesale) will be considered.
• Proven track record of developing customer accounts and generating revenue.
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to negotiate pricing and maximise profitability.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop and grow relationships with existing customer accounts.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities to increase revenue.
• Proactively generate sales through telephone, email and customer engagement.
• Prepare and negotiate quotations, ensuring competitive pricing and profitability.
• Follow up on enquiries and quotations to maximise conversion rates.
• Identify opportunities to increase spend and expand existing customer accounts.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure orders are processed efficiently and meet customer expectations.
