ABL 1 Touch is seeking a MET Technician in Banbury, UK. Mon-Fri, 10:30AM-8:00PM, with a salary up to £60,000 per year depending on experience.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in motor vehicle body repair.
• Auto electrical qualifications and practical experience.
• Knowledge of computerised wheel alignment systems.
• Strong mechanical and suspension knowledge.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Recognised Air Conditioning and Encapsulated Glass training (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Inspecting vehicle structure, mechanical components and paintwork.
• Ensuring vehicles meet all safety requirements prior to handover.
• Removing, storing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components.
• Safely handling and disposing of vehicle fluids and gases.
• Reassembling vehicles following repair, carrying out detailed quality checks.
• Performing 4-wheel alignments where required.
• Completing quality control checks, final sign-off and ATA documentation.
• Identifying and reporting faults or additional repair requirements.
• Maintaining tools, equipment and a clean, safe working environment.
• Following approved repair methods and ensuring documentation is accurate and visible.
• Carrying out vehicle safety checks, beam settings and recording warnings on job cards.
• Ensuring all safety-critical components are fitted and torqued to specification.

Conhecimentos

5 years’ experience in motor vehicle

Auto electrical qualifications

Wheel alignment knowledge

Mechanical and suspension knowledge

Full UK driving licence

Air Conditioning training (preferred)
