ABL 1 Touch Group Limited is seeking a MET Technician to join our established vehicle repair team in the UK. Working Monday to Friday, 10:30AM–8:00PM, with no weekend shifts, you will help ensure repairs are completed safely, accurately and to manufacturer standards.

You will inspect structures and components, remove and refit parts, perform 4-wheel alignments and conduct detailed quality checks. A minimum of 5 years’ experience and auto electrical qualifications are required, with AC and

• Minimum of 5 years experience in motor vehicle body repair.
• Auto electrical qualifications and practical experience.
• Knowledge of computerised wheel alignment systems and safety.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect vehicle structure, mechanical components and paintwork.
• Ensure safety requirements are met prior to handover.
• Remove, store and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components.
• Perform 4-wheel alignments where required.
• Carry out quality checks, final sign-off and ATA documentation.

As anMET Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring all vehicle repairs are completed safely, accurately and to manufacturer and industry standards.

Responsibilities of a MET Technician will include:

• Inspecting vehicle structure, mechanical components and paintwork
• Ensuring vehicles meet all safety requirements prior to handover
• Removing, storing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components
• Safely handling and disposing of vehicle fluids and gases
• Reassembling vehicles following repair, carrying out detailed quality checks
• Performing 4-wheel alignments where required
• Completing quality control checks, final sign-off and ATA documentation
• Identifying and reporting faults or additional repair requirements
• Maintaining tools, equipment and a clean, safe working environment
• Following approved repair methods and ensuring documentation is accurate and visible
• Carrying out vehicle safety checks, beam settings and recording warnings on job cards
• Ensuring all safety-critical components are fitted and torqued to specification

Skills and experience required as a MET Technician:

• A minimum of5 years' experiencein motor vehicle body repair
• Auto electrical qualifications and practical experience
• Knowledge of computerised wheel alignment systems
• Strong mechanical and suspension knowledge
• A full UK driving licence
• RecognisedAir Conditioning and Encapsulated Glasstraining (preferred)
• A flexible, team-focused approach with a positive attitude
• High levels of professionalism, accountability and attention to detail
