Job summary

ARC Recruits is seeking a MET Technician for a busy accident repair centre. You'll strip and refit vehicles to manufacturer standards, work with ADAS systems, and maintain high quality and safety.

You should have previous MET Technician experience, knowledge of modern vehicle systems, and a Full UK Driving Licence. ATA accreditation is desirable, with a fast-paced workshop environment offering a stable career path.

Qualifications

• Previous MET Technician experience in an accident repair centre or body shop.
• Strong knowledge of modern vehicle systems.
• Experience working on a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to quality repairs.
• ATA accreditation is desirable but not essential.
• Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Stripping damaged vehicles ready for repair.
• Refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components following repair.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs where required.
• Removing and replacing vehicle components safely and efficiently.
• Working with ADAS systems and calibrations where required.
• Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and industry standards.
• Liaising with workshop colleagues to ensure repairs are completed on time.
