Job summary

ARC Recruits is seeking an experienced MET Technician for a busy accident repair centre in the United Kingdom. The role involves stripping and refitting vehicles to manufacturer standards, diagnosing faults and working with ADAS systems, while maintaining high levels of quality and safety.

You will join an established repair team, handling a wide range of makes and models in a fast-paced environment. A valid UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as MET Technician or Strip & Fit Technician in an accident repair centre or body shop.
• Strong knowledge of modern vehicle systems and diverse makes/models.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and maintain high quality repairs.

Responsibilities

• Stripping damaged vehicles ready for repair.
• Refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components following repair.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs where required.
• Removing and replacing vehicle components safely and efficiently.
• Working with ADAS systems and calibrations where required.
• Ensuring work meets manufacturer and industry standards.
• Liaising with workshop colleagues to complete repairs on time.
• Maintaining high workmanship standards and attention to detail.
