Job summary

ARC Recruits is recruiting for an experienced MET Technician to join a busy accident repair centre in the United Kingdom. You will strip and refit vehicles to manufacturer standards while prioritising quality and safety.

The role involves diagnosing faults, working on a range of makes and models, dealing with ADAS calibrations, and collaborating with the team to complete repairs on time. A Full UK driving licence is required; ATA accreditation is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as MET Technician or equivalent in an accident repair centre.
• Strong knowledge of modern vehicle systems.
• Experience working on a wide range of makes and models.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and quality repairs.
• ATA accreditation is desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Stripping damaged vehicles ready for repair.
• Refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs.
• Removing and replacing vehicle components safely.
• Working with ADAS systems and calibrations.
• Ensuring work meets manufacturer and industry standards.
• Liaising with workshop colleagues to meet deadlines.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
