Job summary

Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd is seeking an experienced MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities for MEP packages on a major Oxford project, delivering cost planning, procurement, payments and final accounts within tight budgets.

You will work closely with project leaders, MEP delivery teams and supply chain partners to optimise value, manage risk and report on cost performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience managing MEP packages and cost control.
• Precontract through post-contract experience required.
• Large-scale project experience and construction management.
• Strategic data analysis and sound business judgement.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost planning, procurement, and subcontractor payments for MEP packages.
• Administer contracts, variations and final accounts.
• Provide cost reporting, forecasts and financial control.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with project leadership and supply chain teams.
