Job summary

Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd seeks an experienced MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial management of MEP packages on a landmark Oxford project. You will drive cost planning, procurement, subcontractor payments, valuations and variations, ensuring alignment with budgets and commercial objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial awareness.
• Focus on profit, cash, procurement and cost control.
• Ability to manage procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations and final accounts.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and collaboration in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial aspects of MEP packages from pre-contract through post-contract.
• Lead cost planning, procurement, subcontractor payments, valuations and variations.
• Monitor cost reporting, forecasts and risk/opportunity analysis.
• Work with project leadership and supply chain to ensure budgets and objectives are met.
