Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities on a major Data Centre Campus project. You will manage early procurement, subcontract documentation and client negotiations within a dynamic commercial team.

The role involves working on a billion-pound data centre campus, with initial HQ London-based preconstruction work and site-based duties from 2027. A strong background in MEP and JCT contracts is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in construction commercial position with a Main Contractor
• Strong communication skills
• Experience of JCT Form of contract

Responsibilities

• Understand, promote and work within the company values and comply with all procedures
• Support financial responsibility for the project, ensuring the project team achieve or exceed their budgeted targets
• Support commercial strategy including procurement, tendering, negotiation and subcontract documentation
• Support change management including client change, scope variations and programme changes
• Support tender presentations, interviews, and negotiations with client
• Develop and deliver the PCSA agreement, through to delivery and final accounts
• Build relationships with suppliers, sub-contracts, clients, consultants and all other stakeholders
• Place Purchase Orders & Sub-Contracts in line with the Procurement Schedule
• Work as part of the site and commercial team to strive to achieve or exceed targets
